Teetering between harsh noise, musique concrète, and sound collage, Pedestrian Deposit is sure to offer a variety of sonic and oral pains and pleasures in equal doses. Their most recent release, Dyers’ Hands, provides a preview of both the beautiful and horrible sounds that will be summoned tonight on the West Side.
Kennedy and Borges will be supported by an all-star array of Buffalo and Rochester noise vets, including harsh noise wall builder Deceiver, punishing power electronics acts God of Gaps and Dead Weight, and the pulverizing drones of Andy Czuba’s Hoarding project. The soul-crushing begins at 6pm with a prompt Sunday curfew of 10pm so you can exorcise your weekend demons in a bath of terror and static but still get a good night’s sleep before clocking in tomorrow.
